Marvel to Kill Off Immortal Hulk in October's Immortal Hulk #25
Contrary to what the title of the book may tell you, it looks like the Hulk isn't so immortal after all. Marvel plans to kill off the Hulk in October's Immortal Hulk #25, a double-sized issue billed as "groundbreaking." Of course, it may take them a little while to accomplish this task as the issue is set billions of years in the future and it took the entire universe dying just to kill off the Hulk. Plus, it looks like he's coming back anyway.
Marvel revealed the description and cover of the landmark issue below. The creative team has denied our past speculation that Immortal Hulk could be canceled and rebooted after #25, claiming to have plenty more stories to tell. And we believe them… though we're not fully convinced Marvel resist the urge to put a new #1 on the cover of one of their best-selling comics, and if they were going to do so, this issue does look like a good breaking point.
