Of Mice And Superman – Today's Red Hood And The Outlaws
Writer Scott Lobdell watched the finale of the 1939 movie adaptation of John Steinbeck's Of Mice And Men, before writing today's issue of Red Hood And The Outlaws.
And now, so can you.
The comic sees Bizarro, one of the Dark Trinity that forms the comic book, strike hard, drawn by Mirko Clark.
A rather powerful decapitation. But don't worry…
Which gives Red Hood reason to do some digging.
And pop back to the Batcave for a little Kryptonite.
In Of Mice And Men, the simple-but-very-string Lennie has killed a young woman, out of panic and clumsiness and George, his long-term companion and friend, with no way to save him, does what he feels he has to do, take Lennie somewhere calm, quiet and beautiful, before shooting him in the back of the head.
Not this time… for once Bizarro knew exactly the right thing to say.
