Comixology Adds Civil War To iPhone Offering

cwBleeding Cool broke the story that Marvel was publishing comics on the Apple iPhone, including amongst others, the Comixology App. Well it appears that Comixology, while being beaten on price by Panelfly on some issues, have a new weapon up their sleeves, the seven issue series Civil War.

Responsible not only for remaking Marvel Universe into a post-9/11 debate of security vs freedom, Civil War, created by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, was the most successful superhero comic this century and formed the basis for the current Ultimate Alliance game and is expected to be a post-Avengers movie – possibly forming the plot of any Avengers 2 film.

Forget the wars between DC and Marvel, between Wizard and Reed, the real comics war appears to be between Apple iPhone App providers…
