Kurt Busiek is writing a new Dracula series for Boom! Dracula: The Company Of Monsters with Daryl Gregory and with art from Scott Godlewski.

Describing the book as "the world's greatest vampire against the corporate world" Busiek says that working on the book is like "the early days of working on CONAN, and I think the results are going to be a real treat for readers."

Boom! high-concepts the series as;

the story of a powerful, predatory corporation that acquires a valuable asset…Dracula! They think they own him, but no one can own the Son of the Dragon. There's a monster in their midst that puts Hannibal Lecter to shame–and he plans to gain his freedom in blood.

It's bloodsuckers vs. bloodsucker!

Kurt Busiek is both a rival and friend to Boom! EIC, Mark Waid, and previously wrote Dracula in comics form for Harris back in the day on the Vampirella: Dracula War storyline.
