StanWatch: Stan Lee doesn't know why Jack Kirby would get a credit on The Avengers movie.
TeamWatch: Phil Hester and Todd Nauck are reviving the Kirkman/Benito Cereno series Guarding the Globe, and will launch in a story in the Image Free Comic Book Day issue.
ReprintWatch: Lots of Batman and Batman-related comics are being reprinted.
SwipeWatch: The Eagle Awards New Talent Search picked "A Life Of Death" by Brady Sullivan and Phabio Pio in their "Best Art" category. The artist in question appears to have swiped certain pieces by Jae Lee, though whether its in this entry or not is unclear. However, the Eagle Awards they have had to pull the entry and put forward another one, half way through the voting. And Steve Niles has blocked Tony Lee on Twitter over it. Calmer heads do seem to have prevailed since. I feel an article coming on though.

It's been over two months since the viral marketing for The Amazing Spider-Man led to Peter Parker's backpack turning up at different locations across the country. Today, the viral website MarkoftheSpider-Man.com updated with their own photos of Mr. Parker's bookbag in a new section called Baggage Claim. Here, though, Peter's notebook has two pages that didn't appear before, revealing a cypher made of different spider designs.
A New Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man Arrives with The Avengers | Superhero Hype
If the combined team-up of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury and the Hulk isn't enough to get you into a theater next weekend, prepare to throw Batman and Spider-Man into the mix. Marc Webb confirmed today on Attack of the Show that a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will be joining the previously announced trailer for The Dark Knight Rises before screenings of Marvel's The Avengers, beginning Friday, May 4th. According to Webb, the trailer will likely arrive online first, sometime next Thursday.
Fox sets 'Axe Cop' for late toon block – Entertainment News, TV News, Media – Variety
The network has acquired rights to the Internet vid phenom "Axe Cop," which revolves around an ax-wielding police officer and his loyal allies. The plan is to order six 15-minute installments of the series for the Animation Domination HD block that Fox hopes to launch in the first quarter, with the shows running on air and on digital platforms.
