Watch The Comic Art Competition Show Dare2Draw Livestreaming On MNN Tonight

Dare2Draw is a live comic art competition and skill-challenging event that meets fairly regularly in New York at the moment, often at the Society of Illustrators, and I've had the pleasure of attending several of their competitive and networking (not to mention mentoring) events that bring together pros and aspiring comic artists and illustrators to hone their skills. Last autumn, they went to Kickstarter with the ambitious goal of filming a TV show pilot based on their events, and successfully funded their first episode.

Now the pilot has been filmed and is set to debut to the world tonight, Friday the 20th of June, in livestream on MNN Channel 4, the "culture channel", and good news–you can watch it too. It's set to run at 6:30PM Eastern Standard Time (set your watches) and you can check out the MNN invite, the Facebook invite, and even the Twitter invite to make sure you tune in. It's bound to be both lively and interesting, a digital experience of what the live events have to offer distributed more widely to bring the comic arts community closer together.
