Retailers Can Order Exclusive Covers of The Green Lantern #1 by Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp

Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp are launching a new series of The Green Lantern in November. You may have read about it first on Bleeding Cool.

You may also read that comic stores will be able to order exclusive covers for their store of the launch issue.

Usually, this means committing to order over 3000 copies of the cover, or 1500 copies of subsequent variant covers. It can really help bump those numbers up for publishers, though they do incur additional costs.

While Marvel has around 7–13 opportunities each month, DC Comics are far more stingy, with Batman #50 being the last big one.

So with The Green Lantern #1 joining that club, clearly DC Comics has big hopes…
