Dave's Comics opened in Richmond Virginia in 1982. At a time when such a thing was still a novelty.

But in April, the titular store owner Dave Luebke died at the age of 61 from issues related to heart disease.

And today, the store, at the Village Shopping Center, 7019 F Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23226, will be having a closing sale with 40% off all stock. Subscribers at the store will get 50% off.
