Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda launches next week from Marvel Comics, by Jim Zub and Lan "Funky Cold" Medina, spinning out of Avengers, and we've got a preview of Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda #1 below.

There's not much to recap, since this is the first issue of the series, but here's a recap page anyway. Basically, the Black Panther formed this misfit gang of operatives as a support team to do the Avengers' dirty work and gather intelligence.

And their first solo book mission (we've seen the team operate in Avengers before) brings them to Pawhuska, Oklahoma… where things seem to be pretty calm and quiet.

Maybe a little too calm and quiet.

Who are these rampaging monsters?

Though their origin may be uncertain, what to do about them is simple. That's right, it's punching time.

But when the Wasp heads in for a closer look, she's incapacitated, and it turns out there's more behind these monsters than brawn and chaos…
