Ahead of the Captain Marvel Movie, Marvel Reveals 'Meet The Skrulls' #1 (Spoilers)

The Captain Marvel movie is coming. You may have noticed. You may also notice it contains the shape-shifting Skrulls, appearing on Earth, disguised as humans, for Captain Marvel to kick in the face on public transport.

There's obviously more to Skrulls than just that. And, alongside the release of the movie, Marvel is publishing new comic book series that ties into a number of themes and ideas in the film.

Meet The Skrulls looks at an actual family of Skrulls masquerading as a family of humans, to integrate with society, to pull its strings and make changes. But they still have a protocol…

And a realisation that whatever acts they commit, however cruel, are only in keeping with the humanity they impersonate.

The solicitation says they are paving the way for a Skrull Invasion. That's a Marvel deception of their own. The Skrulls have already invaded, now it's about survival of the species…
