It's Dog Eat Dog in this First Clip of Isle of the Dogs
We have a new Wes Anderson animated movie coming out next month! And it's about dogs! There isn't a single thing about Isle of Dogs that doesn't look like it's going to be awesome and everything Anderson fans want. We got our first clip from Vulture shows off the gorgeous animation and the type of movie we're in for.
Apparently that bag is absolutely worth losing an ear over. Each of the dogs have an amazing amount of emotions considering the limited amount of facial expressions they have. This movie looks like it's going to be a ton of fun that we can hope does well. Anderson films tend to be sleeper hits so let's hope this one is no different.
Summary: Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by Executive Decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
Isle of Dogs, directed by Wes Anderson, stars Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Liev Schreiber, Tilda Swinton, and Edward Norton. It will be released on March 23rd.
