The newest trailer for Assassin's Creed gives us more of the plot as Jeremy Iron's character Rikkin tells us about the Apple of Eden. It's an artifact that will crush any impulse for rebellion. Which means the people who are sending Cal back into his ancestor's past are probably the bad guys…

Assassin's Creed opens in theaters December 21st.
