Mary Winchester Is Back And Ready To Hunt
A mother's surprising return on a series that includes Lucifer? Nope, this is not that show on Fox… in this case Lucifer is played by rock legend Rick Springfield and the mother is Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) who is back and ready to hunt. Smith has been playing the role since the pilot of the series back in 2005, but until her appearance in last season's finale, she had only appeared seven times in 11 years. With Mary's return, we can hope that John Winchester might pop up for the first time since 2007 (just his voice was used in 2008)… but Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a little busy right now with The Good Wife and The Walking Dead. Sam and Dean have some interesting parents.
Can we get a duet from Springfield and Tom Ellis? Maybe the Devil Went Down To Georgia?
Supernatural returns October 13th on the CW.
