I'm Going to My First Ring of Honor Show – Here's What I'm Looking Forward To
Next Friday at the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore, I'm finally gonna cross something else off of my lifelong bucket list: seeing Ring of Honor live. The promotion is one of my favorites, and for good reason. They put on quality, fun shows, and they have some serious talent — including the crazy popular Bullet Club. While I am excited for the whole show, there are some matches I'm looking forward to the most.
Cody Rhodes vs Dalton Castle vs Marty Scurll
I am a huge Cody fan, but I also really like Scurll. This match is for the ROH World Championship title. Currently the most animated person I've seen on ROH — Castle — is the current title holder. Castle won the title from Cody during the Final Battle PPV, and he's been successful in retaining it since then. Personally I don't know who I want to win. All three are at the top of their game right now, so I'd be happy with any outcome.
Sumie Sakai, Jenny Rose, Mayu Iwatani, Tenille Dashwood vs Kelly Klein, Hazuki, Kagetsu, Hana Kimura
This eight-woman tag team match features some of the best female wrestlers in ROH. Current Women of Honor champ, Sumie Sakai, will hopefully lead her team to victory. All eyes will likely be on Sakai — can she trust her team? Will everyone gang up on her? We'll find out Friday night in Baltimore!
You can watch Best in the World next Friday at 9 p.m. EST via the HonorClub VIP (HonorClub Standard can buy it for 50% off), Pay Per View, and Fire.TV! To see who else is going on that night, check out the ROH website.
