Cassandra Clare's YA fantasy franchise The Mortal Instruments is being developed as a TV series by Helix showrunner Ed Decter.
Constantin Films who produced the film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and who controls the franchise abandoned plans for a feature film series when the first movie took in only $31 million domestically.
