Amazon Prime Video knows you don't get a second chance to make a first impression, so they're bringing out the "heavy artillery" for this year's San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). The streaming service's set-up will include a massive immersive fan experience that showcases The Boys, The Expanse, and Carnival Row – as well as a packed slate of panels showcasing Undone and The Man in the High Castle, parties, and a free two-episode fan screening of The Boys.
Amazon Prime Video Experience is an immersive, 60,000 square-foot "headquarters" features a 40-foot tower with LED screens playing scenes from spotlight shows The Boys, The Expanse, and Carnival Row. Running from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21 (with a press preview day on Wednesday, July 17), the event will have fans receiving collectible gold and silver coins which can be used to further explore the activation experience. Carl's Jr. will be on hand for burger duty, with a professional portrait photography studio set-up for cosplayers.
On the premiere side, the cast and creators of The Boys will join fans for an exclusive two-episode sneak preview on Friday, July 19. Inside the convention hall, Amazon Prime Video is sponsoring five panels over three days with a number of famous faces taking part: Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne from Carnival Row; and Karl Urban and Jack Quaid from The Boys.
