Disney+ 'Rogue One' Series Adds Stephen Schiff as Showrunner

Earlier this month, it was revealed that a live-action television series based Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was coming to Disney's streaming service Disney+. The announcement also included news that Diego Luna, who played Captain Cassian Andor in Rogue One, would be reprising his role for the series.

As of today, we know that Stephen Schiff has been tapped as showrunner for the series, bringing with him 5 years experience as both writer and producer on The Americans, as well as the recent American Assassin.

The Rogue One series will join Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian as part of the live-action Star Wars Disney+ universe.
