Accompanying her are Elfo (Nax Faxon), a naive elf, who like Bean, wants more to his life than his predetermined duties; and Luci ( Eric André), Bean's personal demon and resident supplier of sass. The world of Disenchantment is filled with mythical beasts, colorful personalities, and everything you can ask for in a medieval romp.
Having found previous success with The Simpsons and Futurama on network and cable platforms, Groening's new show resonated with young-adults on the streaming service.
Since its premiere on August 17, 2018, Disenchantment drew 4.4 million with its premiere episode and gathered an aggregated viewing of 6.6 million.
In addition to Jacobson, Faxon, and André, the show also stars John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.
In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci.
