The Twilight Zone Season 2 Preview: Kanamits Return To Serve More Man?
On Thursday, host/executive producer Jordan Peele, executive producer Simon Kinberg, and CBS All Access are set to throw open the doors to the second season of The Twilight Zone, and now we're getting preview images for an episode that ties in directly to the classic episode "To Serve Man." In the Gretchen Mol-starring "You Might Also Like," a stay-at-home housewife soon realizes that the Amazon Alexa-like Egg isn't exactly the lifesaver they've been made to believe it is. In fact, we're fairly certain that it's something pretty bad for humanity if the Kanamits are involved. The last time we saw them was in the 1962 episode where they were offering to help solve all of our problems. The catch? They were essentially grazing us and getting us fat for their next barbecue. Now, it seems like it might be the same endgame but with an upgraded approach:
What follows is the official trailer for the upcoming season, followed by an updated look at the second season schedule that includes preview images and updated episode mini-trailers to further tease what to expect when we return to that dimension of sight and sound otherwise known as, The Twilight Zone. The 10-episode series stars Morena Baccarin, Kylie Bunbury, Jenna Elfman, Sky Ferreira, Tavi Gevinson, Topher Grace, Tony Hale, Gillian Jacobs, David Krumholtz, Thomas Lennon, Sophia Macy, Natalie Martinez, Joel McHale, Chris Meloni, Gretchen Mol, Paula Newsome, Jurnee Smollett, Billy Porter, Jimmi Simpson, Daniel Sunjata, Damon Wayans Jr., and many more to star.
Executive producers Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg's modern re-imagining of the classic brings the original series' legacy of socially conscious storytelling to new audiences, exploring the human condition and holding a lens up to the culture of our times. The series' second season will use introspection and the exploration of self to usher viewers into a familiar dimension.
