A Classic New Quest: Preview Inks For Lara Croft And The Frozen Omens #1 From Dark Horse

On October 7th, a new story arc for Lara Croft arrives from Dark Horse with Lara Croft and the Frozen Omens #1. Written by Corinna Bechko, with art by Randy Green and Andy Owens and cover art by Jean-Sebastien Rossbach, this new series already displays remarkable degree of confidence and direction, judging from promo materials.

So, what's it all about? The first issue promises to introduce a cult capable of doing some serious global damage for Lara to fight (which is something of a classic scenario for the Tomb Raider), and there are artifacts involved (double classic).

Dark Horse describe the story thus:

It's up to Lara to stop a group of cultists from causing worldwide cataclysmic devastation, and ancient ivory artifacts hold the key to both salvation and destruction! It's a race against time in Lara's new quest, filled with incredible action, dual pistols, and high-spirited adventure.

We have a unique look at this first issue of the series for you here today, a three page preview of Randy Green's art inked by Andy Owens. It's always great to see where the linework is coming from and how the dynamism is being developed in an action comic by looking at the inks.
