Nathan Fillion As Hank Pym, Ant Man?

As part of a piece about actor Kevin Pennington being cast in a central Marvel Studios role, Marvelous News added that the character was not playing Ant Man, saying;

Nathan Fillion is pretty much locked to be Henry Pym, and should be announced before any other new additions to the cast (think around Comic Con)

Presumably this is for the Avengers movie. But there is an Ant Man script written by Edgar Wright Jr and Joe Cornish with Edgar Wright lined up to direct post-Scott Pilgrim, post-World's End and post-Them in a couple of years.

And I've certainly enjoyed Nathan's performances in Firefly and Dr Horrible.

But I'd always heard Simon Pegg was lined up to star in that one, between Star Treks.

So now I am geek-torn. Nathan or Simon? Simon or Nathan?
