Michael Fassbender To Play Magneto Or Elektro?

Roger Friedman of Showbiz411 knows what he's talking about. Well mostly.

So when he says that actor Michael Fassbender is choosing between two roles, one as the villain in Spider-Man 4 and as Charles Xavier in X-Men: First Class – well, Friedman means Magneto, the character played by Ian McKellen in the first three films.

That flub aside, this is someone who usually knows what they are talking about. And while the Spider-Man villain isn't named, judging by Fassbender's frame, it's probably not going to be Kraven. And he's too young for Vulture. Goblin, Sandman, Doc Ock and Venom have been done – Elektro would be the next obvious choice, a prominent figure in both Ultimate and 616 Spider-Man comics.
