Oh Captains, My Captains

Patrick Stewart and William Shatner are to perform a rare double act at Wizard World Chicago this year in August. This will be the first time the pair of USS Enterprise Captains from the TV series Star Trek and Star Trek The Next Generation have appeared togetehr to sel photographs and signatures. Last year Shatner did the same with Kate Mulgrew, who played Captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager.

However they will both only appear together on the Saturday, August 21st, where they will also take part in a panel together

In other news, it looks as if Mrk Millar will be choosing Wizard World's Big Apple Comic Con over the New York Comic Con, giving Wizard a rare victory in their battle over the New York convention circuit. While most of the main comic book publishers and creators will appear at Reed's larger event, Mark Millar's appearance is sure to siphon off a few attendees to the Big Apple a couple of weeks before.
