Bleeding Cool has already pointed out the effect that Hastings carrying exclusive cover variants can have on the market – even when they are still available there for cover price, eBay sales can get into double digits easily.

So when Zenescope made a Grimm Fairly Tales #53 exclusive cover available through Spencer Gifts only, and made it limited edition of 500, and made it a freebie giveaway if you bought the collection, and there are slightly less Spencer Gifts than Hastings… well it was going to get interesting.

Copies have sold from $80-$250 on eBay of late. And mostly from the same seller who was fortunate to snatch a batch. As it were.
