Did Amazon Reveal Silver Surfer's Secret?

Let us begin by expecting the answer to this question to be "No." Amazon list all manner of advance information about upcoming comic books, some of it is placeholder information provided by the publisher that will be amended, such as the price of Emma Rios' I.D. graphic novel. Sometime they get things very wrong, like whatever the hell this is. But sometimes they are bang on the money.

Dan Slott has teased some upcoming event in his Silver Surfer comic with Mike Allred that will change how people see him as a character forever.

And it is possible that the Amazon description of the collection may reveal what this is.

Or not.

Anyway, if you don't want to see any more, that's what this spoiler warning is for.

The Amazon listing for the first collection of the relaunched Silver Surfer comic from Slott and Allred is Silver Surfer & Dawn Vol 1. That's not the name of the specific collection or story arc, but the name of the comic. Silver Surfer & Dawn.

Will the comic also be changing its name to reflect this? Is the Surfer hanging up his board and settling down? Are there wedding bells for the pair?

Possibly not. But it's a thought….
