Simon Bisley To Draw One Shot Issue Of Gerard Way's Doom Patrol
For some people, the finest hours of Simon Bisley were those spent on the covers to Grant Morrison and Richard Case's run on Doom Patrol back in the late eighties and early nineties. Baroque masterpieces that asked, what if Frank Frazetta was a cubist, they solidly established Simon Bisley's reputation for outrageousness at DC Comics.
Simon Bisley has recently returned to the DC for an upcoming nudity-driven issue of Harley Quinn's Little Black Book, reviving his version of Lobo in the process.
But at NC Comicon this past weekend, it was announced that he would be drawing an entire issue of Doom Patrol, a oneshot special, written by Gerard Way.
Look for it in 2017… sometime/
