Mindless Speculation: Could Marvel's Big December Event Be Mephisto Related?

Marvel Comics has been teasing a big event for December, that has War Of The Realms, House of X and Powers of X and Absolute Carnage all leading up to it. But what could it be? This is just mindless speculation, of course, nothing more…  but could it be something Mephisto-driven.

We're just looking at the tea leaves right now…  but the devil incarnate has popped up in Avengers #19, helping our Roxxon take Antartica in The War Of The Realms.

Which could see Mephisto all up inside with the Squadron Supreme Of America in that title. While over in Champions, he has been making deals with Spider-Man, Miles Morales, and Amadeus Cho, the Hulk.

Oh and even popping by the most recent Deadpool.

Is this editorial crossing wires with so much of the big red one? Or is this sign of intentional connective tissue being woven that may be building towards something bigger? With a Ghost Rider and Hellstrom TV series happening at Marvel Studios, is this time for Marvel Comics to give the devil his due?
