Absolute Carnage Gets a Launch Trailer to Shake Symbiote World to Core

Marvel Comics has released a launch trailer for the upcoming super-mega-crossover event Absolute Carnage, from the creative team of global entertainment superstar Donny Cates and artist Ryan Stegman. "Marvel is about to unleash Absolute Carnage!" the publisher shouts on its website. "This all-encompassing event is poised to shake the symbiote world to its core. Get the latest in an all-new trailer featuring Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, Editor Devin Lewis, and writer Donny Cates!"

This marks the 4,967,853rd press release about a super-mega-crossover event in a row from Marvel to claim that the event will shake a world to its core or its foundations, as shaking things to their core seems to be the only metaphor Marvel is able to come up with for super-mega-crossover events having an impact. It's not mentioned explicitly, but we can probably assume that nothing will ever be the same again after this. Well, until the next super-mega-crossover event, of course. What if the world was going to have its socks rocked instead? Some variety is what we're asking for, Marvel.

"It touches on almost every character in the Marvel Universe," says C.B. Cebulski in a press release sent out moments after the website article went live. "No character is going to be left untouched by Absolute Carnage."

You know what, just forget we said anything.
