This Preview of Amazing Spider-Man #31 is Not Approved by the Comics Code Authority
Amazing Spider-Man #31 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week by Nick Spencer, Ryan Ottley, Cliff Rathburn, Nathan Fairbairn, and Joe Caramagna, continuing the book's tie-in with the Absolute Carnage super-mega-crossover event. We've got a preview below.
Spider-Man and Venom are doing their best to protect Dylan Brock and Normie Osborn from Carnage's murder spree, but it's getting hard to prevent Norman Osborn from murdering his own grandkid because he is under the mistaken impression that he himself is Carnage.
And so the preview opens with a flashback to the past, as we saw last issue Spidey was having trouble staying focused on the major beatdown Norman was delivering to him.
Ah, Harry Osborn's drug addiction. This comic has clearly not been approved by the Comics Code Authority.
It seems like Norman is transferring his own guilt onto Peter. You'd think the doctors at Ravencroft would be able to help him with this sort of thing… if the institute wasn't destroyed. And if he realized he was Norman.
But it looks like Peter should have remained focused rather than letting his mind drift to the past, but it may be too late…
Is this the end of Spider-Man? You'll have to buy Amazing Spider-Man #31 on Wednesday to find out. Probably not though.
