Looks Like Stjepan Sejic is Serious About His Poison Ivy Sequel to Harleen, Isley

Earlier this year, Stjepan Sejic posted on his DeviantArt page, with a couple of pieces of art, saying

"I've been working on a concept for a poison ivy story in continuity with harleen, kinda doing a new take on her origin. who knows, if harleen is successful enough… it's a pipe dream but so was harleen XD."

It's true, Harleen was originally fanfic that Stjepan was working on for himself and his fans, and it got picked up by DC Comics to be a major and best-selling Black Label prestige series. Well, as Harleen nears its conclusion, how is that Poison Ivy concept looking? He tweets out…

i dunno…prework warmup got out of hand

I mean… you'd buy that, wouldn't you? Bleeding Cool has talked about DC Comics leaving money on the table when it comes to Poison Ivy comic books. It seems apt that such a book as Islely would both cement a Stjepan Sejic thematic line at DC Comics, and make lots and lots of green… oh, and as wallpaper…

Harleen #3 will be published this Wednesday along with, it seems, every other big book DC Comics is publishing right now.
