X-Men and Spider-Man Get Later and Later From Marvel Comics

Remember when it was Iron Man, Captain America and Fantastic Four that were always late from Marvel? Well, they have some new challengers to the throne…

Jonathan Hickman and R. B. Silva's X-Men #5 has slipped four weeks from the 1st of January to the 29th January 2020 – which as well as being late, lifts it out of the January 1st slot that suffered by not being correctly solicited to retailers and giving them another chance to up their orders in the first week of the new year. Similarly, X-Men #6 by Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Buffagni has slipped four weeks from the 15th of January to the 12th February 2020. And X-Men #7 by Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Francis Yu has slipped four weeks from the 15th of January to the 26th February 2020.

But nothing can touch the JJ Abrams/Henry Abrams/Sara Pichelli Spider-Man #3 is out this week but the final issue #5, originally solicited for the end of January has been pushed eleven weeks to the 15th of April. Currently, Spider-Man #4 is now scheduled for the end of January – if that's out on time then there will be a two-and-a-half month gap between the fourth and final issue…
