Tomorrow's Action Comics #1006 Wishes a Happy New Year to Everyone – But the Mayor of Metropolis

You can dig a little further if you are after spoilers for tomorrow's Action Comics #1006, after certain comic stores put them on shelves a little early last week.

But we now have an official preview of the comic. Lois Lane may be doing the journalistic job over in tomorrow's Heroes In Crisis #4, but in Action Comics, Clark Kent is all up in the mayor's grill, with his sources down to his super hearing. Cheating, others may call it.

And, suitably for New Year's Day, we get Clark Kent in Metropolis Square at midnight… in mid-transformation.

We get the gossip desk to open this issue, in the tradition that Bendis and Sook have set on the title. And we already noticed Greg Rucka's Lois Lane comic book getting a mention…

We have a Young Justice League for a political photo-op. Let's hope they all become supervillains.

Clark Kent doorstepping the Mayor of Metropolis, with a mayoral aide painfully getting in the way of Kent… But what Clark knows about the mayor, the mayor knows about Clark.

And Clark gets to hear everything he wants to – and everything he doesn't as well.

He really needs to be careful with that secret identity thing. especially if the kid reading Green Lantern turns evil as well.
