Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I, In Print, For Free

So, Superior Spider-Man is coming to an end. It will be replaced by Amazing Spider-Man on the schedules, but there will also be a digital comic, called Who Am I to fill in the gaps.

And there will be gaps, it seems, Peter Parker left with no memory. And a digital comic by Dan Slott and Joshua Hale Fialkov called Spider-Man: Who Am I?

But it won't just be in digital. Like Deadpool: The Gauntlet, it will be published in a free issue distributed to comic stores to be given away. Though that version was rather sarcastic about comic stores and saw a number binned by insulted retailers, or in one case cut up and turned into buttons.

Will that happen this time? Depends how much of a digital comic recruitment tool it is.

Spider-Man wakes up with no idea of who he is — but he's robbing a bank! To help build excitement for the return of Peter Parker, Marvel is pleased to announce that The Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I? #1, a promotional comic starring the original web-slinger, is now available to order for free. Taking place within the current continuity of Dan Slott's Spider-Man run, no retailer can afford to miss this exciting opportunity to introduce readers into the world of the Amazing Spider-Man!

Available orders per store are twice as many copies as the retailer ordered of Superior Spider-Man #26…. that's if they want them.
