BHP Launch Two New Gaming Comics For 2019
Glasgow-based comics publisher BHP Comics, who we recently featured as appearing with Frank Quitely at MCM London Comic Con for the Retailer Breakfast has officially signed for SCB for distribution in North America as well as Izneo for digital comics, now available on the Nintendo Switch.
And they are also announcing two new titles for 2019.
Dungeon Fun is an all-ages comic by Colin Bell and Neil Slorance both alumni of Titan's Doctor Who Comic with Bell currently lettering comics for Boom!, Image and Titan Comics, and Slorance making political comics for The National newspaper and for STV.
Since its original publication in 2015, Dungeon Fun won several SICBA awards including Best Writer, Best Artist and Best Comic. It will be internationally published for the first time in May 2019.
While Roll A One by Chris Baldie also won Best Artist at the 2018 SICBA Awards, and will be internationallypublished in the summer of 2019.
The publisher has also appointed Gary Chudleigh, best known for writing BHP's Plagued: The Miranda Chronicles as a freelance Creative Producer, developing TV and film pitches for their ongoing cross-media strategy.
A publisher to watch?
