Bleeding Cool Bestseller List – 2nd Feb 2015 – Batman Goes For A Swim
This is the Top Ten Bleeding Cool Bestseller List, as compiled by a number of comic stores from their sales on Wednesday and Thursday. It measures what are known as the "Wednesday Warriors", those who can't wait to the weekend to get this week's comics. We salute you, and the keenness you bring to your passion.
And Batman takes it, as you might expect, but the latest Thor beat the new Uncanny Avengers out of the gate. Seems like a gender change is as good as a rest….

And this is what they had to say…
Batman was both our biggest book for subs and off the rack. We had three people open new pull lists this week and every one of them had Batman on it, which cleaned off our shelves. Though we sold Uncanny Avengers off the rack, we only had one person add it to their list and they have already dropped it.
Predator has sold mostly due to us massively pushing it both at the register and through giving all the Fire and Stone books their own area, but the feedback on the story and art has been very positive as well. Munchkin's success at our store was due to local resellers buying them all up those first few hours they hit shelves – we had to limit the book to one per person.
Great week of sales. Biggest Wednesday numbers in a while. Great week of books too.
DC won the top two spots with Batman and the Multiversity Guidebook. Batman Eternal being DC's only other entry.
Marvel had the most diverse week with a few Avengers, X-men and one Spider-Man from the future.
Image had a huge week. Bitch Planet and Sex Criminals continue to sell well. Dying and the Dead just missed the top ten, as well as the new volume of Casanova.
Strong Women Characters ruled this week. Harley Quinn Dominated with Bitch Planet and Thor following. Both Casanova, Effigy and Dying Dead had strong openers. Batman held 4th spot with Uncanny Avengers barely making the top ten. Customer are getting tired of Reboots by Marvel and Dc and starting to put their money in other new titles.
Impressed that even at $7.99 Multiversity Guidebook made #5 in our chain for sales – Solid week with some solid releases!
