Danilo Beyruth's Love Kills to be Published in English by Titan Comics

Love Kills by Danilo Beyruth, is now getting an English edition in paperback in September 2023 from Titan Comics.


Love Kills was a graphic novel by Danilo Beyruth, published in French in hardcover by Soleil in 2021, is now getting an English edition in paperback in September 2023 from Titan Comics.

"When you have a past as long as this, something's bound to come back to bite you! A lone female vampire, Helena, stumbles into an alliance with Marcus, an unwitting human, when she's attacked by a rival coven on the streets of Sao Paulo. But when what seems at first to be a simple fight over hunting territory quickly turns into a lethal game of cat and mouse, Helena is forced to confront a shocking past betrayal and battle for her very existence."

Danilo Beyruth has recently gained greater prominence drawing Dan DiDio's Ancient Enemies comic book at Frank Miller Presents.  Here are some pages from both the French and English editions of the book.

Danilo Beyruth was born in São Paulo, Brazil, earnt a degree in industrial design, and worked as an advertising art director. After taking Joe Kubert School correspondence classes, he published his first comic book, Necronauta, then got a grant from the São Paulo State's Secretary of Culture program to publish the graphic novel, Bando de dois.

He also started drawing Stephen Lindsay's 2007 series Jesus Hates Zombies and the Image Comics' anthology Popgun with a Necronauta story. After publishing more graphic novels like Samurai Shiro, now a movie Yakuza Princess, the four books in the Astronauta series and São Jorge for Panini Comics. In 2015 he drew the Marvel Now relaunch of Ghost Rider, as well as Deadpool v. Gambit, The Unbelievable Gwenpool, and the concept art for the film Motorrad. There's a lot more of his back catalogue to be repackaged as his star continues to rise with Frank Miller.
