Diplo Swipes Rebecca Mock's Art – And It Goes Downhill From There

What were these? Well recorded (and shown on Time.com) they appear thusly. A teas eof a collaboration between Diplo and Missy Elliott. With some rather nice visuals.

Which looked rather similar to a certain design created by cartoonist and artist Rebecca Mock for Medium.com and basically used without permission.

Rebecca made her annoyance known.

Yes… not sure that was exactly the way to play it. Rebecca didn't have another way to contact Diplo and, considering the circumstances was rather polite. Which is something you can' say of Diplo, though at least he thought better of and deleted the following tweets..

And the response of some of his fans is even worse. Yes, it is possible. I think I need to start a PR service for how to deal with complaints online. This would be in class 101 in the "how not to" section…

Rebecca eventually returned to Twitter.

this morning I informed @diplo I didn't want him stealing my work to promote his music-his response was to dismiss/harass me & my peers.
