Galleys Of Faith Erin Hicks' Nameless City At SDCC From First Second
Next year, First Second will be publishing The Nameless City, a graphic novel trilogy from Faith Erin Hicks.
An unlikely friendship forms between Nameless City native Rat, and Kai, whose country has recently conquered her city. The two of them must find common ground between their cultures and foil a sinister conspiracy. Hicks has created a beautiful and intricate world inspired by Central Asia and the Silk Road in which the besieged inhabitants of an ancient city are desperate to learn the secrets of the perished civilization which carved the city out of living rock.
The first book of the trilogy is slated to be published in 2016. But attendees at San Diego Comic Con this year will be able to pick up a galley edition of the first book. Which will only be available there. Hence the word 'exclusive' in the title.
Look for some very smug people with a copy of this a year before publication…
