ODY-C #11 – The Comic Book You Can Shoot Through?

ODY-C, the cosmic genderfluid comic book by Matt Fraction and Christian Ward from Image Comics is skipping a month in September solicitations – to the surprise of artist Christian Ward.

However, he promises that the comic, ODY-C #11, is coming out in September. I guess it will just appear in October solicitations but be published in September. DC Universe Rebirth #1 did similar, it's not unknown.

But it has a rather distinct look, with each page, it seems, built around this focal structure.

Ward says

"Trying something different with ODYC 11 Here are the thumbnails with a structure guide to ensure flow between pages"

And,

I am reminded of those comics printed designed for someone to shoot a bullet through. He is going to be busy though.

Look for it in the next Previews as well. Could it be Ultimates again? With another cosmic entity?

As Hong Kong Phooey used to say, could be!
