A New Original Graphic Novel Drawn by David Finch From Image Comics?

David Finch is a Canadian-born comics artist known for his work on Ultimate X-Men, Batman, Cyberforce, The New Avengers, Moon Knight, Wonder Woman and Forever Evil. Co-creator of Ascension with Matt "Batt" Banning, he also worked on concept designs for Zack Snyder's adaptation of Watchmen. He was also chosen by Tom King to draw the proposal scene from Batman that received worldwide publicity.

But we haven't seen a lot of David Finch since. He's been supporting his wife's Kickstarter project, but there was some speculation that he may have been working on a mystery Dawn Of X book, or working in preparation on a new 5G series from DC Comics. But this weekend Bleeding Cool got the nod that for the last several months David Finch has been hard at work drawing an original graphic novel, to be released by Image Comics.

That's all we know, don't know the writer, or the subject matter – or even the schedule. Finch is a very detailed illustrator of the Jim Lee/Marc Silvestri school, so it will naturally take its time. But I understand it should be out before San Diego Comic-Con.

Let's all find out together, shall we?
