Camping Out Overnight For Free Comic Book Day

I think this is a first. As publicity ramps up for Free Comic Book Day, the comics themselves sell out at Diamond Comic Distributors and the free Green Lantern HeroClix figures get allocated per store, some people aren't taking any chances.

At Acme Comics in Greensboror, North Carolina, some folks have formed a line overnight, ready for the store to open in the morning. Sleeping bags, fold up chairs, they really really want their free comics.

Camping Out Overnight For Free Comic Book Day

I'm heading out into London this morning with my girls (who are very excited). I'm starting to wonder if may be we should have set off last night.

NPR has run a guide to their approved Free Comic Book Day titles as well as a three-minute All Things Considered piece.
