There's been some debate as to whether we'd see Jeff Bridges donning the famed eyepatch in the Coen Brothers remake of True Grit – the one that made John Wayne's Rooster Cogburn such an iconic image in the original. Indeed some have presumed that the character would remain eyepatchless in this version, believed to be closer to the original novel.

Well, local paper, Blanco County News has run a small piece on the movie, shooting in its vicinity. And guess what? There's a definite patch…
