The SML Podcast – Three Friends Join The Show For EVO 2014
By Joe Cammisa
[audio:http://joecam.net/SML/SML-e075.mp3]Monday night is here and it's time for The SML Podcast Episode 75: The Fighting Game Reunion Episode here on Bleeding Cool!
It's a full house, literally, this week as Kris and I are joined by former co-host of the show Tim Robinson as well as occasional guest Ian aka Jesus. Along with those guys, we also have another occasional guest Taras "Pappy" Butrej of Drunk Monkeys joining us over Skype!
To celebrate the past weekend's EVO 2014 event, we discuss the goings on of the show, the games played, the winners, the excitement and drama, and the fact that most of the guys didn't even watch the damn thing. Jerks.
We follow that up with some fighting game talk in general followed up by going over some of the recent game news including the Pinball FX 2 drama on Xbox One, the Club Nintendo Platinum and Gold reward controversy, last second delays of Defiance and Magic 2015, and so much more!
It is a jam packed episode with tons of talk and even a few emails! If you've got two hours to spare, join us for a nice long episode!
Check out the mp3 of the show here or check out the YouTube version!
If that doesn't work for you, you can check us out on iTunes and subscribe to us and get all of the episodes a few days early!
To end the show, we are keeping the fighting game theme going with songs from Killer Instinct and Street Fighter games!
Killer Instinct – Humiliation
A_Rival & Prozax – Clamato Fever (Street Fighter II HD Remix)
Kroth – That Burning Sensation (Killer Instinct)
Street Fighter x Tekken – Closing Credits
Thanks for checking us out and we'll see you next Monday with a new episode!
