New Viral Image For 'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters' Teases Mothra
Legendary's absence from Comic-Con International was very worrying, but they do have some movies on the way. One of the big ones coming out in 2019 is the third movie in "monster-verse", Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's currently filming and we already know that a lot of the classic monsters are going to be making an appearance, but Legendary has recently started some viral marketing.
A Twitter account for the fictional Monarch Sciences has shared a picture of what appears to be an ancient carving of the monster Mothra:

The movie is still more than a year away, but some early marketing will probably do it some good. Kong: Skull Island did okay, but not great compared to how much it took to make. Considering the financial problems that Legendary is currently battling and the lack of strong buzz following Pacific Rim Uprising, this movie needs to be huge to keep this universe going.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty, stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Kyle Chandler, and Thomas Middleditch. It will be released March 22nd, 2019.
