Thor to Be Missing After War of the Realms For Jason Aaron's Final Story

In August, Jason Aaron will begin his final story, with artist Mike Del Mundo, in Thor #16. But there's just one problem: there's no Thor! Marvel's August solicitations reveal that Thor will be missing after the conclusion of Marvel's biggest-ever super-mega-crossover event, War of the Realms. They don't explain why — that would be spoilers, after all, and those are reserved for the New York Times — but the bottom line is he's not there.

How awkward for Jason Aaron, all set to begin his last Thor story and his star doesn't even bother to show up! Hopefully the God of Thunder will get it together before Aaron's epic run ends, or Marvel might have to pull a Tom King on him.

Check out the solicit for Thor #16 below, and the full Marvel August solicitations here.

Jude TerrorAbout Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
