Vandal Savage is a Cro-Magnon warrior in the DC Comics Universe who gained immortality and advanced healing abilities after encountering a meteorite during prehistoric times that would later create Lazarus Pits. He has spent those millennia as a conqueror and tactician, learning all sciences, combat, and more.

Created by Alfred Bester and Martin Nodell for Green Lantern in 1943, the character has visited much of the DC Universe and, more recently, made part of a larger group of primitive humans who all became long-lived as a result of encountering the meteor and forming the Council of Immortals. To which Ra's Al Ghul was once the youngest member… tales still to be told.
