New John Wick 2 Photo Shows Off Sequel's Enter The Dragon Influence
John Wick is clearly a culmination of a ton of action influences, that much is clear. It stands on the shoulders of the best there have been, and is all the better for it.
There is going to be one very specific influence in the sequel though. Speaking to Empire, Keeanu Reeves talked about a sequence at the end of the film, and released a photo to go with it. It features villains Riccardo Scamarcio and Ruby Rose Check it out:
It looks like one of the big scenes in the film will feature a maze of mirrors which is a purposeful homage to Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. He said:
It's his [director Chad Stahelski] homage to Bruce Lee at the end of Enter The Dragon. The whole installation is a maze of mirrors where guys can pop out and disappear. It's very cool and a lot of fun to fight in.
