Tonight's Golden Globes Winner Roundup: Fox Searchlight Leads Studio Pack

The era of film and TV has changed, and it looks like once again the streaming services cannot be ignored as a force to be reckoned with at tonight's 75th Annual Golden Globes. The ceremony tonight was far from a somber one, even though most of the guests wore black.

Maybe you heard about the #TimesUp movement, an evolution of the #MeToo movement. Actresses wore black gowns and actors sported not-tiny buttons displaying the phrase. The night was filled with speeches, rafter rattling and poignant. One can only hope this bodes well for the Oscars later this year.

Anyhow, on to the award counts and the winners:

Fox Searchlight lead the pack tonight with 5 wins, HBO wracked up 4, 3 for A24, , 2 for Amazon, 2 for Hulu, and one each for NBC, FX, Neon, and 20th Century Fox.

Best Actress limited TV series or movie went to Nicole Kidman, for Big Little Lies  on HBO.

Best Performance Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture went to Sam Rockwell, for Three Billboards, Fox Searchlight.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy went to Rachel Brosnahan for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Amazon.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama went to Elizabeth Moss for The Handmaid's TaleHulu.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama went to Sterling K. Brown, This is Us, NBC.

Best Television Series – Drama went to The Handmaid's Tale, Hulu.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television went to Alexander Skarsgard for Big Little Lies, HBO.

Best Original Score – Motion Picture went to Alexandre Desplat for The Shape of Water, Fox Searchlight.

Best Original Song Motion Picture went to "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman (20th Century Fox),music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Best actor in a comedy or musical goes to James Franco for The Disaster Artist, A24.

Best Supporting Actress in a limited TV series or movie goes to Laura Dern for Big Little Lies, HBO.

Best Animated Feature went to Coco, Pixar.

Best Supporting Actress In a Drama Allison Janney for I, Tonya from Neon.

Best Screenplay goes to Martin McDonagh for Three Billboards, Fox Searchlight.

Best Foreign Language film goes to In The Fade, Germany/France.

Best Actor Limited Series for TV or Movie, Ewan McGregor for Fargo on FX.

Best TV series comedy or musical goes to Marvelous Ms Maisel, Amazon.

Best Actor in a tv series comedy or musical goes to Aziz Ansari for The Master of None, Netflix.

Best Director goes to Guillermo del Toro for The Shape of Water, Fox Searchlight.

Best Limited Series, TV or movie goes to Big Little Lies, HBO.

Best Actress in a comedy or musical went to Saoirse Ronan for Lady Bird, A24.

Best Film comedy or musical goes to Lady Bird, A24.

Best Actor in a drama goes to GARY OLDMAN for The Darkest Hour, Focus Features.

Best Actress in a drama goes to Frances McDormand for Three Billboards, Fox Searchlight.
