What Lies Below For Bruce And Alfred
A bit of spoilers if you haven't watched the first two episodes of Gotham season 2…
.
.
.
That's your warning.
The first season of Gotham felt like a three headed monster with one of the heads being undersized. The series seemed to be about the origin of Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as story 1A and the origin of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) as 1B and then coming a distant third was the origin of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). The characters of Bruce and Alfred (Sean Pertwee) would spend some episodes never leaving the manner. Though it did pick up as the season progressed but never to the level of the other two.
This season has started off well for the future Batman as he now has access to his father's secret lair, has become closer to Alfred and has him fully on his side and has gained a new ally in Lucius Fox (Chris Chalk). The video below, What Lies Below, focuses on what it means for Bruce to find out exactly what his father was working on and just where it will lead. Mazouz, Pertwee and director / executive producer Danny Cannon give us hints to the future for the characters.
Gotham airs Mondays at 8 PM on FOX
