Over the past few months, I've been not-so-subtly telling you just how great truTV's The Chris Gethard Show really is: through posts about the show returning for 10 additional episodes; and singing its praises through The Weekly Static and Bleeding Cool Chatter's 'The Best TV of 2017' episode.

Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and Camila Cabello are set to take the stage for the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards, set for Sunday, March 11, at the Forum in Los Angeles, California; with Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled co-hosting.

Up-and-coming comedy cabler (and I'm sure proud recipient of The Weekly Static's 2017 Most Valuable Player award) truTV took to the stage at today's Television Critics Association (TCA) to give details on three new series as well as announce the premiere dates for several returning series.

Welcome back to The Weekly Static‘s three-part mid-season finale! Today we take a look at a little basic cable network that's been quietly churning out a quality lineup of some very cool and original programming: TruTV.
